Being horn loaded the AZ speakers' benefit greatly from being placed near a rear wall or in a corner, this enhances bass performance considerably, adding a further 3 - 6 dB of bass below natural cut-off.
Whilst the AZ range is designed for use with the Audio Note™ Zero Level electronics, the AZ range is very versatile and performs well with most small transistor amplifiers as well as with higher levels of Audio Note™ amplification.
